Cornelius Residents Invited To Discuss Next Phase At Robbins Park
Cornelius officials are set to reveal a new conceptual plan for Robbins Park at an Aug. 6 meeting.

CORNELIUS, NC — The Town of Cornelius will host a community workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 6, on the future of Robbins Park. The town government announced that it will reveal the new conceptual plan for the next phases of the park, based on the feedback gathered from a previous meeting and survey.
Robbins Park, at 17738 W. Catawba Ave., was opened in 2011, with the second phase opening in April 2015. Recreational features at the park include a disc golf course, a playground, walking trails, picnic areas, a playground and multipurpose fields.
The workshop will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room of Town Hall. If you can't make the meeting, click here to view the new conceptual plan and give your feedback on a new survey.
