Field Set For 2021 Municipal Elections In Cornelius

CORNELIUS, NC — Town of Cornelius Mayor Woody Washam, Jr., will not face opposition this fall during the Municipal Election, and town voters will have the opportunity to cast votes for the town's Board of Commissioners.

The upcoming Municipal Election on Tuesday, Nov. 2 in Mecklenburg County is an election for the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville and Stallings.

At the close of the qualifying period earlier this month, the following candidates qualified to run in the Municipal Election on Tuesday, Nov. 2 in Cornelius, according to the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections:
