Name: Wes Choplin
Hometown: Cornelius, NC
Hero's job: Chef/owner of Choplin’s Restaurant. He not only runs a wonderful local restaurant; he also gives to the community by feeding those in hard times.
Reason for recognition: Because he is selfless and defines “sense of community”. Wes gives without seeking anything in return, as well as adds value to our lakeside living experience by being the finest chef in town!
One thing to know: He is as humble as he is truly gifted in the kitchen (and heart).

Thank you for all you do, Wes Choplin!
