National Night Out: Cornelius Police 'Parade Of Lights' Details
National Night Out will be celebrated in Cornelius Tuesday night with a "parade of lights." Here's where the parade will take place.
CORNELIUS, NC β The Cornelius Police Department is hosting two parades as part of National Night Out celebrations Tuesday night. The two "Parade of Lights" will begin at 5:30 p.m., CPD said.
National Night Out is an annual nationwide event geared to connect communities with local law enforcement.
"To cover as much ground as possible throughout Cornelius, we are not able to add or delete any new areas," CPD said. "If we are not coming to your area, we ask that you please travel to the closest location as indicated on our route."

East Side of I-77 Parade
The parade for the east side of town will begin in the Antiquity area first. We will work our way around the east side of town by driving counterclockwise around the east side and will end at Poole Place. This parade will then drive over and pick up Forest Shadow after Poole Place.
West Side of I-77 Parade
The parade for the west side of town will begin at Harrogate at the Lake off of Torrence Chapel Road. We will work our way around the west side of town by driving counterclockwise around the west side and will end in Magnolia Estates.
