Santa In Cornelius: When You Can See Him In Your Neighborhood

CORNELIUS, NC — Santa will soon be spreading holiday cheer in Cornelius neighborhoods.

The big guy will be riding through town with a police escort on a dry run Tuesday, Dec. 22 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation & Culture (PARC) said.

"Cornelius PARC, Police & Fire Departments, along with Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, are teaming up to escort Santa around many of our Cornelius neighborhoods," organizers said. "Come on out to wave to Santa and welcome him to our beautiful community!"

Spectators are asked to maintain 6-foot physical distancing from non-family members while watching and waving to Santa, and to wear a mask if that distance cannot be maintained.

The final parade route will be announced on the Cornelius PARC Facebook page closer to the event date.
