106-Year-Old House Moved By Truck To Make Way For Roundabout

The house was the subject of debate on a road project in Davidson going back years.

DAVIDSON, NC β€” A 106-year-old home was moved to make way for a new roundabout in Davidson, according to Lake Norman Media Group.

The option to move the house was discussed for more than a year, and the road project at Sloan and Griffith Streets to install a roundabout even longer.

The house, which you can see all ready to move on Lake Norman Media Group's website, was relocated to Crane Street and transferred into Habitat for Humanity's care.
