April Is For Arts Applications Open Up In Davidson
April is for Arts will resume in late April with two main events allowing local artists to show off their creativity.
DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson is accepting applications for April is for Arts, an annual festival showcasing local artists and their creative skills.
The Gallery Crawl is scheduled for April 22 and the Art on The Green Festival will be April 23-24, and you can get a form at www.townofdavidson.org/April.
Artists are encouraged to apply to display and sell their art during the Gallery Crawl and Art on the Green, and businesses are encouraged to apply to serve as venues for the Gallery Crawl. The deadline for applying is March 4 at 5:00 p.m.

“April is for Arts is an opportunity to support Davidson artists who are our neighbors and friends,” said Economic Development Manager Kim Fleming. “This fine arts festival has grown in popularity to include regional and national artists and showcases a wide array of artwork to see and purchase.”
