Davidson Plans Virtual 2021 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
Here's what you need to know to view the Town of Davidson's virtual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration Monday, Jan. 18.

DAVIDSON, NC — The Town of Davidson will hold a virtual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrationon Monday, Jan. 18.
"Social justice is just as important today as it was 60 years ago, and continuing to remember and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a community is vital to moving forward together," said Leslie Willis, Davidson's Parks and Recreation Director, in a statement.
The event will take place online at 11 a.m.

"Although the program is different this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the town is honored to celebrate the life and work of this inspirational individual," the Town of Davidson said.
