Dog Bite, Stolen Vehicle, DWI: Crime Around Davidson This Week

DAVIDSON, NC — Dozens of citations were issued this week in Davidson for infractions that included speeding, expired tags and inspection, as well as failing to yield to a pedestrian, according to the most recent police blotter.

About two out of every three citation issued this past week was on Griffith Street, according to DPD data.

A dog bite, stolen vehicle and two cases of larceny were also reported, Davidson Police Department said.

Davidson police did not make any arrests this past week.

• Aug. 17 — Dog bite, Shearer Street
• Aug. 17 — False pretense, Peninsula Drive
• Aug. 20 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Shoplifting, Jetton Street
• Aug. 20 — DWI, Summers Walk Boulevard
• Aug. 21 — Larceny of automobile, John Ross Way
• Aug. 23 — Larceny (felony), Avinger Lane
