Drivers Nabbed For Speeding, Expired Tags In Davidson: DPD

Larceny, intimidation and uttering forged checks were some of the crimes reported in Davidson this week. Here's a rundown of DPD's blotter.

DAVIDSON, NC — A case of larceny, along with an incident of intimidation, hit-and-run with property damage and uttering forged checks were among the crimes reported in Davidson this past week, according to the most recent police blotter.

Davidson Police Department did not make any arrests this week.

Here are the crimes reported to DPD from Aug. 10 through Aug. 16:

  • Aug. 10 — Miscellaneous criminal (intimidation), Patrick Johnson Lane
  • Aug. 11 — Felony larceny, Northwest Drive
  • Aug. 11 — Hit & run property damage, White Birch Terrace
  • Aug. 12 — Uttering forged checks, Shearer Road

  • Speeding — 23
  • Expired tag — 11
  • Stop sign violation — 4
  • Expired inspection — 5
  • No operator's license — 2
  • Driving while license revoked — 1
  • Failure to yield — 1
  • Left of center — 1
  • No insurance — 1
  • Reckless driving — 1
