New Kindred Creation 'Milkbread' Opens To Fanfare In Davidson
The Kindred spinoff eatery opened on Jetton Street just down the street from their namesake.
DAVIDSON, NC — Joe and Katy Kindred have opened a café in Davidson, the latest iteration of their brand that began with a restaurant of their namesake, Kindred.
They also created Hello, Sailor restaurant in Cornelius, right on the waters of Lake Norman.
Their latest project is called "Milkbread," which opened recently on Jetton Street, not too far from Kindred.

It snowed opening weekend but that didn't stop locals from pouring into the new business to try their milk bread donuts with apple cider glaze among numerous other options including lunch fare.
The inspiration for the name of the café came from Kindred's success at selling the couple's famous milk bread treats, according to Eater.

Their hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
