Sabor Latin Street Grill Opens Tuesday In Davidson

DAVIDSON, NC — Lake Norman Latin food lovers will have a new option for dining out Tuesday. Sabor Latin Street Grill is bringing its menu of Latin street food to Davidson and is opening its tenth Charlotte-area location on Jetton Street Aug. 7 at 11 a.m.

According to the company, the menu draws on street food favorites from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia, which include empanadas, gorditas, arepas, yuca fries, tacos and homemade salsas.

The new Davidson location, located at 624 Jetton Street, will have both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, the vibrant seating area includes a mural of Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra and basketball legend — and former Davidson Wildcat — Steph Curry.

"We make everything we can from scratch in each location, and you can tell: the flavors are bright, vibrant and fresh," said Dalton Espaillat, chief executive of Raydal Hospitality.

Sabor Latin Street Grill will offer daily specials, such as:

• Monday — Three Amigo Burrito and a drink for $6; $2.50 Mexican beers
• Tuesday — $1 tacos autenticos on corn tortilla
• Wednesday — Kids eat free
• Thursday — $7 arepa and empanada; $5 house mojitos
• Friday — $5 amigos margaritas
• Saturday — Craft beer specials
• Sunday — $2 domestic bees
• Monday-Friday, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. — Happy Hour Tacos, $1 taco authenticos
