Strong Storm System Could Bring 'Substantial' Snow To Davidson
Snow could happen this weekend but it's too early to know for sure!

DAVIDSON, NC — Snow is possible this weekend across North Carolina, but the National Weather Service calls the forecast "highly uncertain."
With that said, the NWS forecasts a "strong" weather system arriving from the west over the weekend which could produce snow that accumulates Saturday into Sunday. If you need a little more hope, their forecast also states "impacts could be substantial."
WCNC expert meteorologist Brittany Van Voorhees posted a special bulletin for North Carolinians on Tuesday warning of the chances, but also explaining why they can't forecast snow with certainty.

"At this point, there is too much fluctuation with the models and we need to focus on consistency and trends," stated Van Voorhees.
She also says instead of snow, it could be sleet or freezing rain. The greater chances of snow are for the north, and higher elevations.
