Davidson is one of the most expensive places to live in the state, and it is anticipated that real estate prices and rent will continue to increase in the foreseeable future. The Davidson Board of Commissioners has charged OnPointe Partners, the planβs consultant, with helping to develop a plan that provides comprehensive, and alternative, recommendations for producing new and preserving existing affordable homes, targeted regulatory changes, strategic infrastructure investments, strategic ways to spend the housing (payment in lieu) funds, identify new funding sources as well as other tools to increase affordable housing. For some fast facts about the affordable housing plan, please check out our informational flyer here.
This first community meeting will provide residents the opportunity to provide feedback in person and also meet the team working on the plan and get questions answered about affordable housing. Participation from the public is a key component in developing the Affordable Housing Plan, and we hope many of our residents will be able to drop by! Refreshments will be provided.

As a reminder, if you have not yet had the opportunity to do so, please take 2-3 moments and complete the Affordable Housing Survey here. Your responses and feedback collected here will also contribute to the final Affordable Housing Plan.
