Vehicle Break-Ins Reported Davidson: Here's Where

DAVIDSON, NC — Two vehicle break-ins were reported in Davidson this past week, according to the most recent police blotter.

DPD made one arrest last week. On Aug. 8, Charles Otis Sherrill, 56, was arrested on Sloan Street via a warrant for the charge of assault.

Here are the crimes reported to DPD from Aug. 3 through Aug. 9:

• Aug. 4 — Breaking and entering auto/ larceny from auto, Southeast Drive
• Aug. 7 — Breaking and entering auto/ larceny from auto, Greyton Lane

• Expired tag — 12
• Expired inspection — 7
• Speeding — 7
• Seatbelt violation — 3
• No operator's license — 1
• Fictitious/altered tag — 1
• Driving while license revoked — 1
