Au Pair Child Care for Military Families

Au Pairs services provide flexibility for dual military families with non-traditional work hours.

Fort Bragg has many dual military families and childcare resources are limited by either available space, or time availability . The on-post facilities at Fort Bragg are expanding, but many families still remain on the year long waiting list.

Another option to consider is an au pair service. Au pairs provide live in childcare for families in need of dedicated help. For a dual military couple, or someone leaving early in the morning to commute to work, an au pair could be a feasible solution.

One local military spouse, Stephanie Gardner, works for the largest au pair placement agencies in the U.S. Cultural Care Au Pair helps to place and match up families in the Fort Bragg area meeting their childcare needs.
