BG Jeffrey Sinclair's Motion Hearings Begin Next Week

On the docket: the high profile case surrounding alleged sexual assault for the two-star general.

Next week at Fort Bragg's courthouse the Article 39a sessions to consider motions in the case of US v. Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair will begin on Tuesday and is expected to last through the week.

Sinclair faces trial on several charges stemming from the alleged sexual escapades since 2008 with four women during his time in Germany, Iraq and Afghanistan.

If convicted, Sinclair could face life in prison on the most serious of the 25 counts of sex-related charges that include wrongful sexual contact, sodomy and adultery, which are considered crimes in military.
