Report: Commissaries to Close One Extra Day Due to Budget Cuts
Fort Bragg Commissaries likely to be affected once the news reaches the individual posts.
The military plans to close commissaries on bases around the world for one extra day each week to comply with automatic federal budget cuts that took effect March 1, spokesman George Little said in an Associated Press report on Fox News.
Though the news has not officially been passed down, it is more than likely that the Fort Bragg commissaries will be affected. Manager on Duty, Ms. McCarthy, could not comment on Wednesday.
Current operating hours are Mon. - Sat. 9a.m. to 9p.m., Sunday 9a.m. to 8p.m.
