Job Description:
This position is located in Cumberland County.Β Judicial Service Coordinators process all new probation cases, supervised and unsupervised. The coordinator interviews offenders and enters personal, family & social information into the database. The coordinator will provide technical support to the Court by investigating the offender pre-sentencing (for transferring out of state or determining deferred prosecution eligibility). Coordinators track the status of community service, monitor compliance, and report non-compliant non-supervised offenders back to the ordering authority, all of which involves significant interaction with members of the judicial system, community agencies, victims & offenders.

Education Requirement:
Graduation from a four-year college/university with a major in criminal justice, human services, psychology, or related field of study; graduation with a two-year degree in criminal justice, human services, psychology, or related field of study and two years of experience in the court system, paralegal work, or other directly related experience; high school diploma and four years of experience in the court system, paralegal work, or other directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
