This position is within Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Department of Surgery which is comprised of several different medical disciplines/services and nine surgical specialties.

This position indirectly supports the Chief of Ophthalmology, Department of Surgery, and the Warrior Refractive Eye Surgical Program (WRESP) service(s).

WAMC is located on Fort Bragg and occupies over 1 million square feet scattered over 163 acres of land. WAMC services approximately 200,000 eligible beneficiaries from the surrounding military community. There is an onsite star quality dining facility, full-service bank, shopette, barbershop, florist, etc., located in the hospital complex.

This position may require the wearing of protective safety equipment. You will be required to stand and sit for extended periods of time and this position involves a moderate amount of walking.
