Hiring: Wounded Warrior Project

Have previous FRG type experience - this could be a good fit.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Family Support Coordinator will assist the Family Support Director in providing support and respite programs for family members, spouses, and/or caregivers. Responsible for assisting with the development, cultivation and maintaining relationships with family members, spouses, and/or caregivers of wounded warriors.

Duties:

  • Locate potential family members, spouse, and/or caregiver who have not had contact with WWP and introduce WWP’s programs and services.
  • Regularly communicate, network, mentor, and outreach to family members, spouse, and/or caregiver in their local areas as the designated local WWP representative
  • Connecting family members, spouse, and/or caregiver to local resources and mental health services
  • Assist in communication coordination between family members, spouse, and/or caregiver, WWP program staff and other external resources.
  • Actively participate in and/or plan events for the family members, spouse, and/or caregiver in respective area as needed
  • Assist in securing family members, spouses, and/or caregiver for local events for, or benefitting, WWP
  • Data input - maintain and update all WWP intranet electronic tracking systems, specifically the warrior and family member, spouse, and/or caregiver database (Salesforce).
