Kids Winter Break Ideas

With kids out of school, how will you spend your time?

  • Winter Break Drama Camp at Stony Point Recreation Center is for ages 7-17 and runs from Dec. 26-28 from 9a.m. to noon. Students will work on acting, story development, games and scene work. The cost is $45, 433-1435 to register, space is limited.
  • Take the kids bowling at B&B Lanes, 300 Fort Bragg Road, or at one of three Fort Bragg bowling alley's. For under $10 you can have a night of fun.
  • Round-A-Bout skating centers on Fort Bragg Road and Raeford Road are having a holiday skate special for kids during winter break that includes a lunch meal with a drink.
  • Bundle up and head to Fort Bragg's Cleland Ice Rink for some ice skating. 'Walkers' are available to help little ones. Traditional ice skates or hockey skates are available to rent for $3 with $4 admission during the week. For more information call: 396-5127
