Local Gold Star Mother Attends State of the Union Address
The Marquez family knows about sacrifice and in North Carolina, that means something to our representatives.
Sgt. Justin Marquez was killed in the war while serving in Afghanistan with the Special Forces, last October.
His mother Terry Marquez has always had a love for politics and in Decebmer, after asking NC Sen. Kay Hagan for the opportunity to hear President Obama's State of the Union Address, Hagan made it happen.
