Military Credit Card Offers Perks

Two military-focused organizations join forces to support those who honorably served.

SAN ANTONIO — USAA and Military Order of the Purple Heart — two national military-focused organizations — have joined forces to strengthen support of those who have honorably served, easing the way for approximately 43,000 MOPH members and their families to access USAA's world-class insurance and financial services.

The agreement positions USAA as the exclusive provider of financial services including insurance, banking, investments, brokerage services and financial guidance. The USAA Bank makes a contribution to MOPH with every new MOPH USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® credit card account opened and each time MOPH members make an eligible purchase with their card.

"USAA is honored to be working with Military Order of the Purple Heart and serving the financial needs of those who have sacrificed so much for our country," said Nathan McKinley, USAA vice president of military affinity. "The Military Order of the Purple Heart dates back to 1932 to protect the interest of combat veterans and we appreciate everything that they do."
