NASA to Webcast Lyrid Meteor Shower

Watch the coverage here

NASA to Webcast Lyrid Meteor Shower Tonight in case you missed it over the weekend.

You can watch the Lyrid meteor shower webcast on SPACE.com courtesy of NASA's feed.

The Lyrid Meteor Shower happens every year in the month of April. In 2013, the Lyrid meteor display is set from April 16 through April 26, though it peaked overnight on April 21 and 22. Because the moon is brightest in the night time sky, the best time to view the Lyrid are the early morning hours before dawn, after the moon has set but before the sun rises.
