Opening Statements Commence Monday in Mario McNeill's Trial
The jury and alternates have been seated and the trial is expected to last for six weeks.

The trial for Mario McNeill is set to begin Monday afternoon in the death of a 5-year-old girl in Nov. 2009.
According to an ABC WTVD 11 news report, the courtroom was closed and cleared out completely while the Judge Jim Ammons sorted out a disagreement over evidence between the defense and prosecution teams.
McNeill is facing the death penalty for seven charges, that include first-degree murder and first-degree rape of a child when he of took the child to a Sanford hotel and assaulted her and allegedly got rid of the body in nearby brush.
