Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony Honored 12 Fallen from Fort Bragg and Fayetteville

The annual ceremony was held Thursday morning at the Cumberland County Courthouse Courtyard.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Fayetteville Police, Hope Mills Police, Fort Bragg Military Police, Spring Lake Police and the State Highway Patrol, joined forces to honor fallen officers killed in the line of duty in the 27th annual ceremony.

On Thursday, May 9, 2013 the law enforcement professionals from the community gathered at 8:00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Cumberland County Courthouse to memorialize law officers who have died protecting the citizens of this county.
