Runners from All Over Honor Fort Bragg's Fallen Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Roy Tisdale

'Running with Roy' was a instant social media success and a quick way to spread the word within the military community.

Army Families are a tight knit community that stand together in hard times. On Sunday, February 24th Kim Tisdale and her team travelled to Florida to run a half marathon in her husband's honor.

Supporters, friends and family all over the country dedicated the day to 'Run With Roy'.

Posted on the Facebook site, supporters left messages for the family that they were running in Roy's honor as the word quickly spread on Facebook and 'Likes' started popping up last week.
