Black Ice Warnings

Traffic advisory in effect

The City of Fayetteville had .5 inch of snow recorded on Saturday. With wet roads, warnings and early Sunday morning cancellations went into effect with expectations of black ice.

  • Saturday - Rain, mainly after 1pm. High near 42. North wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Saturday Night - Rain and snow likely before 10pm, then a chance of snow between 10pm and 1am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 42. West wind 9 to 17 mph.
  • Sunday Night - Clear, with a low around 24. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Monday - Washington's Birthday Sunny, with a high near 55.
