Talented Jack Britt High School Student Auditions for the 'X-Factor'
Summer Collins is ready to take the next leap in her singing career.
This rising star, a senior from Jack Britt High School has hopes of competing on 'X-Factor' and with her talent, it would not be a surprise.
Summer Collins is no stranger to the spotlight. She has been performing since she was a little girl. You have probably seen her strumming on her guitar downtown at Fourth Friday - she was the featured guest at So Chic Bebe last month. She also sang the National Anthem for the opening day of little league games here in Fayetteville. Last month she appeared before the crowd at Dancing with the Fayetteville Stars.
"I'm so excited about the X-Factor because it is a show that really markets to my age group and just looks like a fun time," said Collins. "If I got on and made it to the final rounds, I would be so excited to be in front of America!"

Summer let me in on a little secret - in her room when she practices her singing she belts it out into a shampoo bottle that acts as her microphone. But not for long. Though Summer is 17, she is already being scouted to be signed on with a major label and is currently affiliated with PCG Nashville.
