Two Arrested at Pine Forest High School, Guns on the Premises

One student charged with carrying a concealed weapon. One firearm is reported to be stolen and was used in a crime.

 

Friday morning Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies and Fayetteville Police Officers located two guns on the campus of Pine Forest High School on the north end of Fayetteville.

FayPD came to the school to arrest Angel Dickinson, 18, of 3402 Carl Steiner Road, Fayetteville on an outstanding warrant for common law robbery. When searching his vehicle, officers located a shotgun which was believed to have been used in a recent crime according to Debbie Tanna, Public Information Officer.

Charges for Dickinson will be handled by the Fayetteville Police Department.

A former student arrested who recently withdrew from school, Paul Algarin, Jr., 18, of 3952 Foster Drive, Fayetteville was sitting in his vehicle in the school's parking lot at the time of Dickinson’s arrest. Deputies and school Administration searched Algarin’s vehicle and found a Ruger 380 under the front seat. The firearm had been reported stolen from the Lumberton Police Department.

Algarin will be charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a firearm on school property, trespassing and possessing a stolen weapon.
