With Earnings Down for Barnes & Nobles, This Means Closures

Has the increase of e-readers affected the bookstore business? According to Monday's Huffington Post report Barnes & Noble plans to close at least 20 store locations per year over the next decade, but those locations have not been disclosed.
According to a Nielsen BookScan report, print book sales have decreased 22% over the past five years as a result of e-readers.
Fayetteville's Barnes & Noble location would not comment on their revenues or 2012 holiday sales figures and referred Patch to speak with the corporate office.
