The Greensboro City Council approved reimbursing the North Carolina Department of Transportation up to $20 million for utility construction services supporting the Megasite project at its March 15 meeting. Council also approved $500,000 n in expenses related to demolition services that are out of compliance. A contract for $375,800 was also approved for the partial closure of Phase III at the White Street Landfill.

Funding of more than $2 million was approved for the City’s bus and bus facilities grant program. These funds will support the purchase dispatching software and maintenance equipment to be used to install GTA’s bus shelters throughout the city, as well as to purchase nine replacement vans for GTA’s paratransit service.
