Mall Hours Vary Near Charlotte, LKN On Thanksgiving, Black Friday

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — For those hoping to go shopping on Thanksgiving, more stores are closed than open, but Black Friday is expected to be back to pre-pandemic levels. For those living in the Lake Norman area and Charlotte, local shopping centers have varied hours during the holidays so employees can spend time with loved ones at home. But come Friday morning, they're ready to roll. Here's when big local shopping centers are open.

• Birkdale in Huntersville: Store hours vary by location and retailer on Thanksgiving, but many are opting to be closed on the holiday. They are excited to open on Black Friday with the entire facility open by 10 a.m. and staying open to at least 10 p.m. with special deals and holiday specials.
• Northlake Mall in Charlotte: They are closed Thanksgiving Day. They will open bright and early on Black Friday by 8 a.m. and stay open until 9 p.m.
• South Park Mall in Charlotte: They are closed on Thanksgiving Day. They will open bright and early Black Friday at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
• Concord Mills Mall in Concord: They are closed on Thanksgiving Day. They will open bright and early Black Friday at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
• Charlotte Premium Outlets: They are closed on Thanksgiving Day. They will open bright and early Black Friday at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
