HUNTERSVILLE, NC โ€” Birkdale Village is hosting a socially distanced St. Patrick's Day celebration featuring bag pipes, Irish dancers and live music. The "Luck of the Village" event is set for Friday, March 12.

The ticketed event will kick off at 5 p.m. with Loch Norman Bagpipe Band, followed by dance performances from the Connick School. Tickets cost $50 per table, which includes a bucket of five beers from Eleven Lakes Brewery, snacks and "green swag," organizers said. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen.

The event is limited to ticket holders in order to ensure social distancing, and organizers encourage participants wear masks while on the property when not actively eating or drinking.
