1. Get ready to have some animal fun this weekend with the Lake Norman Humane Society. It is hosting Fur in Flight at Troutman ESC Park today from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are a number of exciting events planned including three shows that will feature the Disc-Connected Canines showcasing their World Frisbee Dog Championship skills. 2. Residents, please note that the Liberty Park basketball courts will not be open to the public on Sunday, June 25, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Due to this week's rainy weather, a community event originally planned on the Liberty Park green space has been relocated to the basketball courts. 3. Mooresville Arts 19th Annual Judged Photography Show and Competition is currently being showcased in the Depot’s Center Gallery. According to a press release, "Forty-four local and regional photographers are participating in this year’s show, with over 100 photographs on display. A variety of subjects are captured in this exhibit including landscapes, florals, animals, figures, abstracts and macro shots." The show is on display now through Thursday, July 27.
