From my notebook:

  • Mooresville Police Department: "The "dip in temperatures" we are supposed to be having this week gave our Traffic Unit a chance to break out the Hot Car Thermometer at today's Car Seat Check event. Within a few minutes, the temperature inside this vehicle was almost 20 degrees higher than the outside temperature. Within 50 minutes, the temperature inside the vehicle was 136! Remember never leave children or fur babies alone in a car! " (Mooresville Police Department via Facebook)
