9/11 Memorial Walk Set For Saturday In Mooresville
The 20th Anniversary Commemoration walk, and ceremony are planned in downtown Mooresville on Saturday, Sept. 11.
MOORESVILLE, NC — This year, the nation will come together at ceremonies in Mooresville and other U.S. communities to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
In Mooresville, the 9/11 Memorial Walk is planned on Saturday, Sept. 11 at two downtown locations. A ceremony is planned immediately following the walk.
Say organizers:
"The Memorial Walk will begin at 8:45 a.m. at two separate locations — Main Street at Iredell Avenue and Main Street at McLelland Avenue — joining together in front of Richard's Coffee Shop for a ceremony."
