  1. Mark your calendars for Aug. 24. At 6 p.m. the Drendel Auditorium will be opening its doors so guests can experience the N.C. premiere of ‘sister’. According to Mooresville Tribune, "Following the conclusion of the screening of this short film will be a panel discussion with the cast, director, and producers moderated by the emcee, Hal Rowe.   2. An arrest was made recently of 27-year-old Kire McNeil of Mooresville. According to WCCB Charlotte.com, "Officials with the U.S. Marchal’s Office helped to locate McNeil. McNeil has been arrested and charged with felony death by distribution of a controlled substance. (WCCB Charlotte.com)
