Back To School: 2021-22 Calendar For Mooresville, Iredell Schools

MOORESVILLE, NC — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Iredell County, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Mooresville Graded School District and Iredell-Statesville Schools.

The first day of school for public school students in the Town of Mooresville is Monday, Aug. 2. The first day for Iredell-Statesville Schools is Monday, Aug. 23.

Both MGSD and ISS have announced optional masking for students and staff while indoors for the 2021-2022 school year.

Mooresville Graded School District

• First Day: Aug. 2
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 - 26
• Winter Break: Dec. 20 - Jan. 4, 2022
• Spring Break: April 14 - 19, 2022
• Last Day: May 25, 2022

Iredell-Statesville Schools

• First Day: Aug. 23
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 - 26
• Winter Break: Dec. 23 - Jan. 4, 2022
• Spring Break: March 7 - 11, 2022
• Last Day: June 8, 2022
