- The Mooresville Board of Commissioners will be holding its annual budget workshop at The Charles Mack Citizen Center today, May 10 and tomorrow Thursday, May 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. The workshops are open to the public. Discussions will include personnel requests, operating budget requests and capital requests. (Town of Mooresville NC via Facebook)
- Mooresville Police Sergeants Taylor and Compton will be biking to Washington, D.C. as part of the annual Bike 2 DC – Ride to Honor, which honors men and women who died in the line of duty, including MPD Officer Jordan Sheldon. After riding 500 miles to arrive in D.C., Sergeants Taylor and Compton will attend a Candlelight Vigil at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Good luck guys! The board is looking for the next resident to join. It could be you! The Committee is made up of seven community volunteers with expertise and/or positive interest in parks and recreation.
