The Catalinas Set To Bring Beach Music To Liberty Park

The Catalinas will soon perform a free concert at the Liberty Park amphitheater in Mooresville.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Beach music will soon fill the air in Mooresville, when The Catalinas perform Friday, Aug. 20 at the amphitheater in Liberty Park.

The show is part of a family friendly summer concert series at the park's new amphitheater, bringing Motown, country and beach music bands to downtown Mooresville. The series is set to wrap up Friday, Aug. 27, with a Band of Oz performance.

The Aug. 20 concert begins at 6 p.m. at the park, which is located at 255 East Iredell Avenue in Mooresville.

Concerts are free and open to the public. "Bring your blanket or chairs for the lawn seating and enjoy food trucks, activities, vendors and more at the Liberty Park Summer Concert Series," say organizers.

Attendees should be aware that the following items are not permitted in the park during the concert, the town said:

  • Alcohol
  • Weapons (concealed weapons or otherwise)
  • Skateboard, in-line skates of bicycles in the lawn area
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Pets
  • Umbrellas
