- The home explosion that took place early Tuesday morning in Mooresville, took the life of 61-year-old Robert M. Farley, the father of Tennessee Titans defensive back Caleb Farley. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, "Gas must have accumulated over a long period of time and likely found its way to an ignition source, which caused the explosion. The blast, [has been] ruled accidental. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

According to a recent post on the Mooresville Parks and Recreation Facebook page, "[The after-school program] is a great way for your children to unwind after a long day of school. We also provide school pick-up from Park View Elementary (Selma Burke and Winnie Hooper Afterschool programs) and Rocky River Elementary (War Memorial afterschool program)."
