  1. Take note residents! The town of Mooresville has announced that there will be upcoming Railroad Crossing closures and detours. On Sept. 11 and 12, Norfolk Southern will close the crossing at Iredell Avenue and N. Broad Street to perform needed updates on equipment. Once this work is complete, work at Norfolk Southern will begin at the W. Wilson Avenue crossing, between N. Broad and N. Main streets. The entire project is expected to be completed by Sept. 13, weather permitting. There will be detours in place during this work so plan accordingly. (Town of Mooresville NC via Facebook)
  2. Would you like to get the know the police officers at the Mooresville Police Department better? You're in luck! There is a Cone with Cop event happening on Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the front parking lot of the Mooresville Police Department (2847 Charlotte Highway). This is a great opportunity to enjoy a sweet treat and get to know the cops who work to keep your neighborhoods safe. Hope to see you there! (Mooresville Police Department via Facebook)
