- Only two days before the Town of Mooresville opens Liberty Park reimagined on Saturday, June 17. Offering something for everyone the celebration will include fun for, kids, teens, and adults. Please remember that the park will be closed until the event begins at 4:30 p.m. The event will end at 9 p.m. (Town of Mooresville NC via Facebook)
- Mooresville Fire Rescue has a new addition to its fleet. Rescue 1, which officially went into service on June 14, replaced Engine 5 in the center of town. Rescue 1 is a 2022 Pierce Quantum Heavy Rescue. Congratulations Mooresville Fire! (Mooresville Fire via Twitter)
- Scotty McCreery and his fellow inductees into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame will be enshrined on Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center. Tickets for the event are on sale now. (musicrow.com)
