- Over the Memorial Day weekend, 65-year-old Perry Lane Anderson of Mooresville died while diving the Duane wreck off Key Largo. Reportedly, fellow divers helped Anderson back to the dive boat and CPR ensued. According to Florida Keys Weekly, "Anderson was taken to Mariners Hospital in Tavernier where he was pronounced dead. Foul play does not appear to be a factor. Autopsy results are pending." (Florida Keys Weekly)
- Scotty McCreery and his fellow inductees into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame will be enshrined on Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center. Tickets for the event are on sale now. Can't wait to see you there! (musicrow.com)
