- Town of Mooresville NC: "Ever see a bike symbol with two chevrons on our roads and think, 'what is that?' It’s called a Sharrow and it serves multiple purposes. While not a bike lane, they serve as a guide for where cyclists should ride to help them avoid open car doors and vehicles passing dangerously close to them. Mooresville is a Vision Zero community that encourages multi-modality transportation to make the Town a safer place for all. By understanding bike lanes and sharrows, drivers and cyclists can co-exist safely." (Town of Mooresville NC via Facebook)
