Missing 27-Year-Old Charlotte Man Located: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC — A missing 27-year-old Charlotte man who was reported missing by his family last week after he left home while experiencing mental distress has been located, police said.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Cooper Robertson left his home in the 2700 block of Oakmeade Drive on foot during the night of April 18. He was reported missing shortly after noon on Saturday.

“His family is extremely concerned,” CMPD said Thursday. “Mr. Robertson was experiencing mental distress when he left home.”

Robertson has visited parks and wooded areas around his home and in the area of South Charlotte, in the past, CMPD said.

Thursday evening, Robertson had been located, police said.
