Garden Stepping Stone

Create your own garden stepping stone on Tuesday, July 10 at 7 p.m..  All materials provided, but you may bring any objects you would like to incorporate into your design.  For adults and children 8 and up accompanied by an adult.  Space is limited to 15.  Register at the Circulation desk.  Friends members fee - $5, general public fee - $7.

Growing Your Business Workshop 2012 – Email Marketing Basics

Join this growing group of small business owners as they network and learn ways to improve their businesses on Thursday, June 21 from 9:15 a.m. – 11 a.m.  These informative workshops are part of Avon Lake Public Library’s Small Business Resource Connection whose purpose is to aid in the economic development of small businesses in the community. 

Kean on Glass

Experience the art of mosaic glass! Beginning Tuesday, June 26 through Thursday, June 28 at 10 a.m. – noon and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., be part of this one of a kind art project for the Young Adult department as you work alongside local glass artist Judy Kean.  Space is limited.  For ages 11 – 16.  Register at the the YA desk or by calling 440-933-8128 x 247.

Camp Nightmare

If you like scary stories, games in the dark, slimy crafts and disgusting snack, join us at Camp Nightmare on Friday, June 22 from 11 a.m. – noon.  Bring a flashlight with your name on it.  For ages 8 – 10.  Register in the Children’s department or by calling 440-933-8128 x 253.

Wee Science Sampler

Join us for Circus Science on Monday, June 25 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. OR 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. OR 6 p.m. – 7 p.m..  We will present a number of hands-on activities designed just for kids ages 3-5, each accompanied by one adult.  Space is limited.  Register in DiscoveryWorks or by calling 440-933-7848.

Stupendous Storytelling Balloon Show

On Tuesday, June 26 at 1 p.m., balloon twister and National Comedy Theater Improv alum, Jeff Wright, will entertain you with a show like you’ve never seen before. All ages will enjoy Jeff’s storytelling with balloons.
