Crushers Close Road Trip With Win

Team has home opener tonight at All Pro Freight Stadium

The scored twice in both the second and third innings Thursday night and held off the Rockford Riverhawks, 4-2, to wrap up their season-opening road trip.

Andrew Weeks (2-0) pitched six innings for the Crushers, striking out five while allowing just one run on six hits. Patrick Norris was the offensive leader, going 3-for-5.

Tonight's home opener for the Crushers is against the Jolie Slammers at 7:05 p.m. at . Paul Fagan (0-0) gets the pitching start as makes his debut in his return to the Crushers.
